Responsibilities Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. Manage appointment scheduling and patient follow-ups as a dental receptionist when required. Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and treatment plans. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth workflow and high-quality patient care. Stay updated on medical terminology, systems, and best practices in dentistry. Experience Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred; familiarity with Dentrix software is a plus. Knowledge of prosthodontics and pediatric dentistry is advantageous. Understanding of medical documentation processes and compliance with HIPAA standards. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently. Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
