Don't miss out - apply today and start your journey with Team Apex!Job SummaryThe primary functions of the Shipping and Receiving Coordinator are to prepare and ship products in a timely manner, receive products into inventory after verification with purchase orders, and manage the inventory broadly for our production site. This is an ideal position for those who are highly detail oriented and strong organizers. This is a great opportunity for an individual to learn the ins and outs of our business and gain knowledge and experience that will allow them to have the opportunity to advance within our company!Essential Job Responsibilities:Package finished parts and prepare them for shipment to customersReceive parts from vendors and promptly process them into inventoryEnter shipping and inventory data into the ERP systemFile part certification forms properlyPrepare large freight shipments for shipping to customers and vendorsAssist with monthly cycle counts and lead physical inventory managementAnswer shipping and receiving doors to accept deliveriesPull materials from inventory and update the computer system for jobs in progressMaintain a backorder log of inventory needed for jobs in progressFollow production schedule to ensure on-time deliveries and follow up on late or missing jobsRegularly maintain the shipping dock area, utilizing 5S and lean manufacturing standards to keep the area highly organizedCross-train and assist others as neededAdhere to and support all safety policies and guidelinesPerform other duties as assignedRequired Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalentThree (3) years of shipping and receiving experienceThree (3) years of inventory management experienceStrong computer skills, including Microsoft Office applicationsExperience working with ERP programs (i.e. Acumatica, Syteline, Epicor, SAP)Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted and over 50 pounds with assistanceAbility to read and understand Safety Data Sheets (SDSs)Ability to understand and willingness to support Company's quality policies and objectivesExperience driving a forklift and possession of (or willingness to obtain) a permit for operation of a forkliftPossession of a valid standard driver's licenseKnowledge of and ability to wear personal protective equipment necessary for duties performedAbility to work independently with minimal instruction and supervision and effectively plan, organize and execute own activitiesAble to communicate effectively (verbal and written) with customers, vendors, and team membersAbility and willingness to work overtime as required to support customer and vendor demandsPreferred Qualifications:Four (4)+ years of shipping and receiving experienceFour (4)+ years of inventory management experienceExperience with AcumaticaCompensation & Benefits:The anticipated pay range for this role is between $23 - $29/hr, depending on qualifications and experience.
