Junior Estimator

Based in Southeast Florida, Bengoa Construction Inc. specializes in Structural Repair, Strengthening, and Waterproofing. We are expanding our Estimating department to sustain growth and are seeking a Junior Estimator who is passionate about construction and looking to grow within a well‑established organization. Responsibilities Review bid documents and obtain pricing for required materials. Set up estimating sheets. Perform material takeoffs from drawings using Planswift. Visit sites, meet subcontractors, and verify quantities. Assist in obtaining pricing from subcontractors. Attend pre‑bid meetings as needed. Be proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Set up final bid documents and ensure timely delivery. Complete additional tasks requested by the Director of Business Development. Qualifications Authorized to legally work in the United States. Older than 18 years old. Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing). Spanish bilingual is a plus. Excellent interpersonal skills. Team‑oriented and eager to work in a collaborative environment. Higher education degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management. Proficient or expert in using estimating software such as Planswift. Strong drafting skills in AutoCAD or similar software. Proficient with Microsoft applications such as Excel, Word, and Project.
