A well-established services organization is seeking an experienced Controller to oversee accounting operations and provide strong financial leadership. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional who enjoys working closely with ownership and driving accuracy, structure, and process improvement.

Position Overview

The Controller will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting functions, financial reporting, and internal controls while leading a small accounting team.

Key Responsibilities

As the Controller , you will:

• Oversee full-cycle accounting including AP, AR, payroll, and general ledger
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and strengthen internal controls
• Partner with leadership on financial strategy and operational decisions

Qualifications

• Experience in the construction industry
• Proven experience in a senior accounting or controllership role
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and month-end close
• Experience managing or mentoring accounting staff
• Hands-on, detail-oriented leadership style
