As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment through exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $35.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTime Mon 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM Tue 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical manufacturing location. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help to deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, directing visitors and contractors according to site procedures, and documenting entry and exit activity. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, and security-related concerns while maintaining awareness of posted hazard notices and restricted areas. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Previous firefighting experience is required. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
