CNC Machinist & Programmer (Tooling / Haas)We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist & Programmer to support our tooling and production operations. This role is responsible for programming, setup, and operation of Haas CNC equipment to meet engineering and production schedules. The ideal candidate has strong machining fundamentals, CAM experience, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.Hours: 5:00 am - 1:30 PM, Monday - Friday.QualificationsRequired:High school diploma or equivalentTool & Die apprenticeship or equivalent hands-on machining experienceCNC machining experience including setup and operationAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&TWorking knowledge of G-code and CNC processesExperience with Haas, Fanuc, or Hurco controlsStrong math skills (including trigonometry)Preferred:Experience with FeatureCAM or similar CAM softwareBackground working with small precision partsTooling, die repair, or fixture-building experienceEssential Results:Program, set up, and operate CNC machines (Haas) using CAM software (FeatureCAM preferred)Background with Fanuc, HAAS and or Hurco controls a mustInterpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T specificationsPerform first-piece inspections and verify machining accuracyTroubleshoot machining issues and adjust programs, tooling, or setups as neededMaintain tight tolerances on small precision partsAssist in building, modifying, and repairing tooling, jigs, fixtures, and gaugesMaintains specifications by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting, including turning, facing, knurling and thread chasing operations; taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; adjusting and reprogramming controls; sharpening and replacing worn tools; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processesOperate toolroom equipment including mills, lathes, grinders, and Bridgeport machinesUse precision measuring instruments to ensure quality standards are metMaintain equipment and follow preventive maintenance proceduresDocument production activity and communicate across shiftsFollow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environmentLearn to build and repair tools from part prints, 2D electronic prints, 3D CAD detailOther Duties as assigned.Working Conditions:Must be able to work overtime, including weekendsMust be physically capable of standing/bending /stooping/griping 8+ hour shift(s)Must lift up to 30 lbs. without assistance.
