General Maintenance Technician

Overview Under minimal direction, is responsible for responding to and correction of fault conditions within the BHS System. Responsibilities Performsbasic maintenancecleaningsuch as sweeping, cleaning and greasing. Performs basic cleaning of assigned equipment such external power washing of passenger boarding bridges. Completeall safety training as assigned by the Company. Compliance with all DSUS safety programs, policies and procedures. Perform additional duties/assignments that may be required by management from time to time. Must be able to work at heights of up to 25 feet in a boom lift or scissor lift with appropriate fall arresting gear. Qualifications High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) Ability to work a non-traditional schedule including weekends and holidays.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Previous work experience in anAirportenvironment.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Works in all areas located on Airport property. May be around dust, dirt, moving machinery, temperature changes, heights and noise levels below OSHA minimum requirements. Use of PPE is required.
