Job Summary

Performs duties such as guard, patrol and monitor premises to prevent theft, violence or infraction of property and gaming rules and regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Patrols premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of entrances, etc.
• Investigaes disturbances.
• Answers questions and provides other information to guests as requested.
• Escorts team members with money banks from one destination to another.
• Escorts table fills from the cage to the table games area.
• Checks identification of any guest entering the casino to assure they are at least 21 years of age.
• Writes reports of any irregularities encountered while on duty such as equipment or property damage, theft, or any other unusual occurrences.
• Circulates amongst guests to preserve order and protect the property and its guests.
• Monitors and authorizes entrance and departure of team members.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Abilities

Ability to read, analyze and interpret common documentation. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from team members, regulatory agencies or members of the staff. Ability to write and present information to management in a reasonable manner. Ability to perform normal mathematical computations in regard to the implementation of current duties. Ability to define problems collects data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of instructions and deal with several variables.

Education and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent. Experience in security preferred. Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
