Position Summary: Primary responsibility will be to lead and execute procurement activities across MRO, Facility Services and Capital categories, as well as other site supporting spend in the region, in alignment with Global Category Strategies.

The person will collaborate with Global Category Managers and Site Procurement Leads to develop and execute sourcing strategies that drive supply assurance, cost savings and cash flow benefits across the North America region in alignment with Teva corporate strategy and financial goals. The position will manage supplier relationships with regional (above-site) suppliers and will drive the MRO Integrated Supply program in the region. The person will be responsible for local stakeholder engagement and serve as a partner to site leadership as well as Engineering, Facilities, Maintenance and Finance functions and will develop a communication network within the region to ensure the continuous flow of information

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the creation and lead execution of local sourcing strategies in alignment with Global Category Managers
• Analyze and produce reports on supplier spend data, sourcing initiatives and targeted/achieved savings at a regional and site-specific level
• Identify potential sources of supply and conduct Request for Proposal (RfP), Requests for Quotation (RfQ), Ariba E-Auctions, quotation analysis and cost modeling aligned with Global Category Strategy
• Identify opportunities to consolidate locally managed categories at the regional/country-wide level, and undertake necessary actions to migrate spend
• Lead or support contract negotiations and management including successful execution of contracts, ensuring proper coordination with the internal legal team and managing on-going stakeholder contracting needs
• Guide and coach on procurement best practices in compliance with TEVA policies, GMP, customs and SOX requirements
• Liaise with Legal, Regulatory, Finance, IT and other functions as needed

Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelors degree preferably in Procurement, Engineering, Finance or related Business discipline
• CPM Certification preferred but not required

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 5-8 years of Procurement/sourcing experience. Prefer experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Experience supporting Manufacturing operations desirable
• Demonstrated excellence in program/portfolio management
• Flexibility to work across multiple procurement categories and disciplines (both strategic and tactical)
• Deep experience with sourcing processes and tools including the 7 step sourcing process
• Experience in managing SRM process
