Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Night Shift

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:30). Requires working 2 weekends on and 1 weekend off.

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a night position. The ideal candidate will have extensive neonatal experience and a wide variety of skill sets due to the diverse population we serve. Responsibilities include working in the Emergency Room, floors, and Intensive Care Unit. Skills in Pulmonary Rehab and Pulmonary Function Testing (PFT) are a bonus.

• Provide respiratory therapy services in various settings including the ER, floors, and ICU.
• Assist in high-risk deliveries and manage ventilators.
• Perform diagnostic tests such as PFT, ABG interpretation, and troubleshooting high-pressure alarms.
• Administer medications and respiratory treatments as prescribed.
• Conduct patient assessments and document findings accurately in Epic charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum 1 year of experience as an RRT.
• Current certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
• Traveler's primary residence must be more than 25 miles from the facility.
• Prior experience in a trauma-level facility preferred.
