Job Title: RN Step Down Profession: RN Step Down Specialty: RN Step Down Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 PM - 07:30 AM Hours per Shift: 12.5 Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: Current RN license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Current BLS certification - Current ACLS certification - NIHSS certification Description: The RN Step Down provides specialized nursing care in a high-acuity environment. Responsibilities include monitoring patient conditions and providing necessary interventions. The RN collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Effective communication and patient advocacy are essential in this role. Additionally, the RN will educate patients and families on post-discharge care and resources. Candidates should demonstrate strong critical thinking skills and the ability to respond to emergencies. Commitment to professional development and team collaboration is expected.
