Pediatric Pulmonology Locums - Philadelphia, PA (IMLC Accepted) Quick Overview

Schedule & Call

5 days on-site per coverage week
Weekend call coverage included
Physicians provide both inpatient daytime coverage and night call during assigned week
Call Type: In-House
Required Response Time: 15 minutes
Inpatient and night call coverage are typically bundled together

Required Licenses & CertificationsLicenses

Active Pennsylvania Medical License Required
IMLC Accepted
Unrestricted and Unchallenged Medical License Required
DEA Registration Required

Board Certification & Training

Board Certified in Pediatric Pulmonology Required
Fellowship Training Required

Certifications

ACLS Required
PALS Required

Clinical Responsibilities

Inpatient Pediatric Pulmonology coverage
Outpatient clinic coverage
Bronchoscopy procedures
Daytime inpatient rounding
Night call coverage
Pulmonary consultations
Occasional ICU consultations

Patient Volume

Approximately 4 phone consults per day
ICU consults may occur but role is not exclusively ICU-based

Practice Details

Assigned and Unassigned Patient Rounding
Scheduled Clinical Hours plus Call Coverage
EMR: Cerner

Ideal Candidate

Active Pennsylvania license and available to start quickly
Comfortable managing inpatient and outpatient pediatric pulmonary patients
Experienced with bronchoscopy procedures
Able to provide both clinical coverage and in-house call during assigned coverage weeks
