Role Description The Construction Superintendent is a full-time, on-site role based in Upland, CA, responsible for overseeing daily field operations on electric vehicle infrastructure projects. This role coordinates subcontractors, vendors, and internal crews to ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and within budget. Day-to-day responsibilities include supervising construction activities, enforcing site safety standards, managing inspections, and verifying work quality against plans and specifications. The Construction Superintendent will collaborate closely with project managers, utility representatives, and local agencies to resolve field issues, schedule work, and maintain regulatory compliance. The role also involves tracking progress, preparing daily reports, communicating updates to stakeholders, and supporting continuous improvement in construction processes. Qualifications Demonstrated proficiency in Construction Site Management and field supervision for commercial or infrastructure projects. Strong knowledge of Construction Safety practices, OSHA requirements, and the ability to foster a safety-first culture on site. Effective Organization Skills, including scheduling, documentation, and coordination of multiple crews and subcontractors. Experience with Budgeting and cost control, including tracking labor, materials, and change orders in collaboration with project management. Solid Project Management abilities, including planning, progress tracking, and stakeholder communication. Experience working with utility companies and local governmental agencies is highly beneficial. Familiarity with EV infrastructure, electrical construction, or related fields is a plus. Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings, specifications, and permits. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead diverse on-site teams.
