Key Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse - Emergency Department (ED)

• Complete all ED care needs
• Manage patient ratios of 1:4 or 1:5
• Utilize EKG, cardiac monitors, and blood glucose equipment
• Collaborate with staff and providers for optimal patient care

Requirements of the Registered Nurse - Emergency Department (ED)

• Minimum 1-year current acute care hospital ED experience
• BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS, TNCC and ENPC certifications
• Preferred Level II Trauma experience
• Preferred stroke experience
