Step into a rewarding contract opportunity working with schools near Franklin, NC, as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA). You'll be supporting students across 1-2 school locations, collaborating closely under the supervision provided by the district. This position runs from ASAP through May 27th, 2027, offering you a meaningful role in delivering vital communication services to children and young adults.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Active SLPA credential required
• Prior experience in school-based settings preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Successful completion of required fingerprinting and background checks
• Proficient in providing direct and indirect speech therapy support under SLP supervision

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct typical SLPA duties, including delivering speech-language therapy under supervision
• Assist in implementing individualized education programs (IEPs) and documenting student progress
• Participate in paid team meetings and administrative tasks as part of indirect hours
• Maintain detailed records and data tracking for each student on the assigned caseload
• Communicate with students, teachers, and families to support educational and developmental goals
• Travel between 1-2 school locations, as assigned

This contract role offers a consistent weekly schedule of 37.5 hours, with interviews conveniently conducted via Zoom.
