DescriptionA growing regional mid-size CPA firm in Parsippany, NJ is seeking a Tax Manager. There is a track to becoming a Partner.Responsibilities include:* Preparation/review of complex C corp., S corp. and partnership income tax returns* Preparation/review of high-net-worth individual returns* Review of C corp., S corp. and partnership income tax returns* Review of complex individual returns* Will research and draft memorandum involving tax matters* Identify tax planning opportunities* Handle and resolve tax controversies* Training and supervision of staff. This role will work on a variety of industriesThis firm offers a good work life balance along with opportunity to advance, great culture, year-end bonus and Summer Fridays!Requirements* Accounting degree or similar* CPA* 6 + years of public accounting tax experience for mainly corporations and Partnerships; High-net worth Individual tax experience is a big plus* Prior experience in managing, mentoring and leading teams, demonstrating effective leadership abilities* Proficient project management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines efficiently* Outstanding collaboration, communication, organization, and analytical skillsJob TypeDirect HireCompensation130000 - $175000
