Automotive Sales Associate - Mercedes Benz

Salary : $68,000 - $192,000 annually

Compensation Structure:

• 30% commission (after pack) up to $4,000 per unit sold.
• $500 minimum commission when you attain 10 sales in a given month, retroactive to the first unit sold 
• Other spiffs and bonuses are available as dictated by management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead Management : Handle inbound leads from various sources, setting appointments and confirming details.
• Customer Relations : Focus on building relationships, ensuring that each customer feels valued and informed.
• Product Knowledge : Become an expert on Mercedes-Benz products, including vehicles, optional packages, and the latest technology.
• Sales Process : Answer customer questions, follow up with pricing, and send additional photos if requested.
• Negotiation and Closing : Effectively negotiate and close sales while meeting customer needs and expectations.
• Follow-Up : Send out promotional emails and maintain regular communication with leads to keep them engaged.
• Task Management : Prioritize and perform multiple tasks to meet and exceed sales goals.
• Record Keeping : Maintain clear and concise records for both the dealership and the customer.
• Overcoming Objections : Learn to handle objections and thrive in various sales situations.

Time Off & Holidays

Paid Time Off (PTO):

3–10 years: 1.53 hours per 40 hours worked

10+ years: 2.30 hours per 40 hours worked

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent; or 1-3 months related experience and/or training; or combination of education and experience
• Available to work flexible hours & weekends.
• Previous automotive sales experience is preferred, but not necessary.
• Ready to hit the ground running on learning new product ins & outs.
• Effective communication skills 
• Professional, well-groomed personal appearance.
• Basic mathematical aptitude
• Ability to apply and understand reasoning.
• Clean driving record, with valid driver license.
• Willing to submit to a background check & drug screening.
