The Facility Maintenance Technician plays a vital role in maintaining the operational efficiency and safety of the farm facilities. Working in a small team, the technician uses manual tools, standard power tools, and specialized diagnostic equipment to perform equipment repairs, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting. This position demands a strong commitment to safety compliance and the flexibility to respond to on-call emergencies and scheduled overtime.

Responsibilities

• Perform equipment repair and preventive maintenance tasks efficiently
• Troubleshoot mechanical and operational issues within facilities
• Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and compliance standards
• Utilize manual and power tools as well as specialized diagnostic equipment
• Collaborate effectively within a small maintenance team of 2-5 members
• Respond promptly to after-hours emergency calls and scheduled overtime requirements

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in facility maintenance
• High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in facility maintenance and farm equipment preferred
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
