Position Summary
The Deputy Branch Manager supports overall branch operations, including logistics oversight, dispatch supervision, vault management, regulatory compliance, and team leadership. This role plays a critical part in operational continuity, route management, and ensuring secure transportation standards are maintained.
Key Responsibilities- Assist Branch Manager with daily operational oversight.
- Oversee dispatch operations and ensure proper route assignment for drivers.
- Supervise department leads including logistics, vault, dispatch, and administrative teams.
- Monitor route efficiency, staffing coverage, and service delivery metrics.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and DOT regulations.
- Support hiring, onboarding, training, and disciplinary processes.
- Monitor KPIs, service performance, and risk management initiatives.
- Lead internal audits and ensure adherence to security protocols.
- Serve as acting Branch Manager in absence of Branch Manager.
- Drive operational excellence and cost control initiatives.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in logistics, armored transportation, or high-value warehousing.
- Minimum 2 years in supervisory or management role (required).
- Hands-on experience with dispatching, route planning, and driver supervision (required).
- Strong knowledge of compliance standards in secure transport environments.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to meet company driving standards.
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check.
- Experience with operational reporting and performance management.
