Respiratory Therapist - Per Diem

Role: Respiratory Therapist RRT - Per Diem Responsibilities Assist physicians with respiratory procedures and provide therapy to neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients according to hospital policies. Assess patients to determine appropriate treatment methods, document activities, and communicate treatments clearly to patients and families. Monitor patient responses to therapy, with special attention to pediatric and neonatal cases, and provide education to patients and staff. Qualifications & Skills Graduate from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program. Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or registry-eligible, with Illinois licensure within 6 months. Current CPR certification; ACLS, NRP, and PALS required within 24 months. Key Duties Providing respiratory care, assessing patients, documenting treatments, communicating effectively, and ensuring patient safety and comfort.
