MRI Technologist - Evenings

Role Overview: MRI Technologists perform diagnostic imaging using magnetic resonance technology, independently executing or assisting with MRI procedures to support diagnosis and treatment. They prepare patients, ensure proper identification, and follow safety protocols to minimize risks. Key Responsibilities Obtain correct orders, prepare patients, and document clinical history while maintaining confidentiality. Utilize appropriate imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, and apply ALARA principles for patient safety. Prepare and administer medications as prescribed, evaluate image quality, and ensure proper data storage and transfer. Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers, assist with interventional procedures, and select suitable pulse sequences. Apply MRI safety principles, participate in safety investigations, and support licensed practitioners during procedures. Qualifications & Skills Certification from ARRT, NMTCB, or ARMRIT required upon hire; new graduates must obtain certification prior to employment. Must have completed a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
