As a Lead Directory Services Engineer, you will bring your technical skills to a hospitality company with an award-winning culture. As a part of the Directory and Collaboration Services team, reporting to the Senior Manager of Directory Services, you will support normal operations and major projects critical to providing Identity and Access management services across the enterprise, including developing, testing, debugging, and documenting platform operations, and applications integrations.What you'll do during a typical day:Develop and implement authentication and identity operating standards.Develop tools and scripts to increase automation and streamline operations.Manage the PingFederate and PingDirectory platforms providing LDAP, SAML and Oauth services to the enterprise.Evolve the Single-Sign On and LDAP services to improve resiliency and ensure continuity of business operations.Resolve incidents, perform root cause analysis, and improve service quality.Complete SAML, OAuth and OIDC application onboarding through requirements analysis, design, implementation, and operational stages.How you'll collaborate with others:Build relationships across the Technology Directory and Collaboration Services team, along with the larger Infrastructure community, to understand how the portfolioTake initiative to learn the interdependencies and recommend opportunities to evolve and streamline the operationsBe curious about how the systems interconnect to develop a comprehensive understanding and to promote creative solutionsDeliverables you'll take ownership of:Create proactive processes to improve uptime and system processing which will support technology initiativesWhat It Takes to Make the StayYou have these minimum qualifications:Five (5) years of professional work experience in Technology or related fieldThree (3) years of experience working with PingFederate and PingDirectory or comparable identity federation and directory solutionsExperience coding in OGNLExperience with Java developmentTechnical knowledge of Operating Platforms (Windows, UNIX, Active Directory)This is a hybrid role and would require to be near our Dallas or Memphis office location.Willing to travel up to 15%It would be useful if you have:Bachelor's Degree, or Associate's Degree plus 6+ years of Technology related experience, or High School Degree/GED plus 12+ years of Technology related experienceSeven (7) + years of professional work experience in Technology or related fieldFive (5) + years of direct experience with Ping, LDAP, and directory structuresThree (3) + years of experience with a Java Application server (WebLogic, WebSphere, Glassfish, or Apache Tomcat)Experience developing/implementing web interfaces (SOAP, CGI, or REST)Experience with the Atlassian Collaboration StackExperience with markup languages (XML, XHTML)Experience with multi-factor authentication solutionsHow We'll Help You ThriveAt Hilton, the hospitality we're known for doesn't end with our guests. The pay range for this role is $100,000 – $145,000 and is determined based on applicable and specialized experience and location.
