Location: Plymouth Offices at 3033 Campus Drive, Suite E490, Plymouth, Minnesota 55441 Term: May 10, 2027 to August, 20, 2027 Contract: Full-time Co-Op/Internship. Typically, 36-40 hours a week. Hybrid. 9/80 schedule if applicable. What you’ll do Assist in preparation of federal, state, and international income tax returns and supporting workpapers Assist with quarterly tax provision calculations (ASC 740), including book-to-tax differences Prepare and analyze tax data to support compliance and financial reporting Support responses to tax notices and audit information requests Prepare and analyze tax data to support compliance and financial reporting Utilize digital tools to improve data accuracy, consistency, and reporting efficiency Communicate with various levels of personnel throughout the organization, including management, plant operators, engineers (of various disciplines), tradespersons, and contractors Participation in department meetings and meetings specific to the project assignment Adhering to Mosaic’s mission, guiding principles and priorities, and key competencies What you’ll need Junior level or above by May 2027 pursuing a bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or IT 2.75 GPA or higher Foundational knowledge of taxation and accounting principles Experience or familiarity with Microsoft Copilot, Power BI, and reporting tools preferred 1-2 years of experience volunteering, working with student/school organizations, or work is preferred. Previous internship or co‑op experience is preferred. Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license — You will need to be able to travel to and from sites and/or office. Ability to work full timeand be a student in standing at the time of the co‑op/internship Selected candidates will be required to successfully complete post‑offer/pre‑placement drug and alcohol screening, background check, physical, functional capacity examination. Basic computer skills are required Experience working in a team environment is a must Effective verbal communication skills is a plus Physical demands Must be able to safely perform the essential functions of the job without posing a direct threat to the safety of his or her own self, or the safety of others Able to lift approximately 0-25 lbs. occasionally Able to climb stairs and work at various heights Able to distinguish varying or specific colors, patterns or materials Able to hear, with or without correction Able to read, write and understand basic English Able to see, with or without correction Able to use fine hand motor skills Authorization and legal Must be authorized to work in the United States.
