Job Description\n American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Pittsfield, Massachusetts.Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry\n Discipline: RN\n Start Date: 09/28/2026\n Duration: 13 weeks\n 36 hours per week\n Shift: 12 hours, nights\n Employment Type: Travel\n \n Assignment Overview\n \n Shift: Nights, 3x12hrs\n Hours: 36 hrs/wk\n Start Date: Sep 28, 2026\n Length: 13 weeks\n Openings: 1\n Description\n American Traveler is hiring a night-shift Med/Surg RN with current MA licensure, Med/Surg and telemetry experience, and willingness to float to any Med/Surg unit.Details\n \n Med/Surg unit setting with 20 to 34 beds depending on unit\n Typical patient ratio of 1:6\n 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, working 36 or 48 hours on a guaranteed time basis\n Every other weekend required, plus holidays if needed\n No on-call requirements\n Required to float to any Med/Surg unit\n Block scheduling not available\n Requirements\n \n Active Massachusetts RN license required in hand at time of profile upload\n BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (AHA) required in hand at time of profile upload\n Minimum 2 years of current Medical Surgical experience required\n Telemetry experience required\n Basic Dysrhythmia course completion strongly required\n Meditech Expanse experience highly preferred\n Must have own vehicle for this assignment\n Skills checklist for Medical Surgical experience, current within 1 year, required\n One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years of employment required\n Additional Information\n \n Provide direct patient care on a busy Med/Surg unit with a diverse patient population\n Personal scrubs of any color permitted\n Must work two full holiday blocks if scheduled: Thanksgiving through the following weekend, Christmas Eve through Christmas Day and the following weekend, and New Year's Eve through New Year's Day and the following weekend\n All requested time off must be submitted and verified at the time of profile upload; requests made after submission or during interview will not be approved\n No more than 5 days of RTO will be accepted\n Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered\n Permanent address must be included in profile\n At least two specific interview availability dates/times must be provided\n \n \n American Traveler Job ID #P-750637.
