Communications Manager - AviationSTV is seeking a Communications Manager - Aviation to join our Aviation group. This position will support one of our aviation clients at the client jobsite in San Francisco, CA. This position is designated as fully onsite, 5 days/week.This position will assist one of STV's top aviation clients to establish a communications program and manage stakeholder and public touch points for various aviation projects at SFO airport. The role will bring consistent and professional communication streams to all key stakeholders including clients, airlines, airport operators and employees, consumers, media, and the general public to meet goals and promote a positive perception of the program, the client, and STV. The ideal candidate has a creative mindset, strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills and is passionate about client advocacy and service.Responsibilities include:Work with program leadership to develop strategic communication plans to meet program goalsSubject matter expert on all issues related to program communicationsServe as project manager for communications initiatives for the programImplement strategic concepts, messaging, and positioning content within written and presentation materialsWork directly with project stakeholders to establish and manage a consistent flow of internal and external communication streams with a focus on project status updates, logistics, and public relations/news through various avenuesPromote the program brand by designing and updating super-graphics, signage and wayfinding, digital content via kiosks, social media, and a program specific websiteCreate, publish, install and manage comprehensive airport maps for public awareness during constructionUpdate and maintain internal graphics library for referenceWrite original content for social media, website, collateral materials, etc.Work with corporate and local resources to identify and pursue media coverage as appropriateLead planning and coordination of events such as groundbreaking, team milestone celebrations, grand opening, etc.Technical Skills/Qualifications:Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Marketing/Communications, PR/Journalism, or related disciplineA/E/C or Aviation industry knowledge is highly preferred5 - 7+ years related experience is requiredOrganizational and time-management skills for meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environmentClient-focused and has a strong work ethicAbility to effectively coordinate all aspects of communication planClear and persuasive writing skills to produce content for a variety of communication streamsConsistent command of grammar, proofreading, punctuation and business writing skillsUnderstand how to write press releases and relate to the mediaOversee, monitor and enhance program presence in both traditional and online mediaDemonstrate proficiency with graphic development and visual communicationsDemonstrate proficiency with Microsoft 365, with enhanced proficiency in PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Cloud with enhanced proficiency in InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, and PhotoshopDemonstrate full proficiency in presentation design, development and useAbility to interpret various content types and information to transform into campaigns, presentations and high-impact visualsSelf-motivated decision maker and problem solverPhotography and videography skills are a plusCompensation Range:$139,203.44 - $159,089.65STV offers the following benefits:Health insurance, including an option with a Health Savings AccountDental insuranceVision insuranceFlexible Spending Accounts (Healthcare, Dependent Care and Transit and Parking where applicable)Disability insuranceLife Insurance and Accidental Death & Dismemberment401(k) PlanRetirement CounselingEmployee Assistance ProgramPaid Time Off (starting at 16 days)Paid Holidays (9 days)Back-Up Dependent Care (up to 10 days per year)Parental Leave (up to 80 hours)Continuing Education ProgramProfessional Licensure and Society MembershipsSTV is committed to paying all of its employees in a fair, equitable, and transparent manner.
