You will assist in building out the compliance department as a subject matter expert. This is a full-time, in-office position based in Overland Park, KS What You'll Do:
- Enhance the coverage and form language of our existing products. Draft new endorsements.
- Assist with the development, submission and monitoring of regulatory filings.
- Be the subject matter expert on all things landlord insurance compliance including reporting requirements, data calls, stat reporting, licensing, contract language, etc.
- Monitor regulatory developments in active and prospective markets
- Work closely with the development team on programming specs
- Assist with building out the compliance department and implementing processes, procedures, etc.
- Join an exciting and motivated unit with the goal of filing in all 50 states in short order and revolutionizing landlord insurance.

- Experienced : You've worked for at least 3 years in insurance compliance. Regulatory experience is a requirement. Property, underwriting and/or product experience is preferred.
- Builder : You've assisted with launching new insurance products previously and understand what that entails.
- Digital : You know how to communicate with regulators. Your Excel, Word, and written communication skills are well above average. You are a SERFF ninja.
- Hungry : You want to make the leap into an early-stage tech startup to rapidly accelerate your growth.
