Acquisition Management Support III/Contract Administrator

Sr Acquisition Manager at NSWCAlluvionic is seeking experienced applicants for a Acquisition Manager III to support the Naval Surface Warfare Center located in Crane, IN. Must be US Citizen Clearance Required: Yes – Active Secret Clearance Location: Remote Position: Contingent upon award of Contract.Responsibilities:Develop tracks and provide analysis of procurement data and packages to provide recommendations to improve quality, schedule and efficiencies.Collect procurement requirements from the government Requiring Technical Authority (RTA) to be used in acquisition plans and to determine resources and track procurement packages.Preparation of the technical data package (TDP) for each procurement requirement identified.Establishes and maintains electronic and/or hardcopy data library of documents and work order files for documents received for processing.Ensures organizational adherence to FAR/DFARS/NMCARS to include NSWC Crane Acquisition Quality Assurance Guide.Provides recommendations concerning policies and procedures to ensure adherence to the Regulations and Directives for both FAR and Non-FAR based requirements.Liaison between resource sponsors, program/project managers, their staff and the US Navy contracting department.Qualifications:A bachelor's degree in a technical field from an accredited university with 7-10 years of professional experience in acquisition management support.Secret clearance required.Must be able to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time, as well as lead and participate in meetings and working groups.Strong communication, organizational, creative, analytical and problem solving, interpersonal and presentation skills.Working knowledge of FAR and DFARS - Familiarity with IT for NAVSEA (compliance).Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and switch between tasks quickly.Ability to work in a team environment.Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.Mastery in use of personal computers with extensive experience using Microsoft Office Suite and web-based applications.Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.Benefits:Generous paid time off, with additional days earned at your ten-year anniversaryPaid holidays per our company handbookHealth insurance through Cigna Healthcare, with employer contributions toward employee and dependent premiumsHealth Savings Account through Optum BankVision and dental insurance through Mutual of OmahaLong-term and short-term disability insurance, fully paid by the companyEmployer-paid AD&D and life insurance, with options to purchase additional coverageRetirement plan with company match on employee contributionsAnnual incentive pay opportunitiesTuition reimbursement (after six months of employment)Employee referral bonus per our company handbookEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Professional organization membership (after six months of employment)Paid professional certification (after six months of employment)Workers' compensation, fully paid by the companyEmployer-paid IDShield® membershipOn-site notary services for headquarters employeesCompany-wide celebrations and eventsNote: Benefits may vary based on role and level.
