Formulation Scientist
$30 - $44 per hourEurofins Agroscience Services North Carolina
Formulation Scientist position supporting research operations at a life-science contract research organization. Responsibilities include characterizing biologics, lipid nanoparticles, and nucleic acids using analytical instrumentation, performing wet chemistry analyses, and maintaining laboratory standards and documentation.
Responsibilities
- Analyze peptides, nucleic acids, proteins, and antibodies using wet chemistry and analytical instruments
- Formulate and characterize lipid nanoparticles and biologics
- Support formulation of nucleic acids and buffers according to established protocols
- Maintain GLP compliance and documentation using electronic lab notebooks
- Ensure laboratory organization, cleanliness, safety, and quality standards
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in biology, biochemistry, chemistry, or related field with 1-2 years lab experience
- Master's degree in biology, biochemistry, chemistry, or related field with under 1 year lab experience
- Understanding of industry practices and standards
- Ability to independently troubleshoot and interpret experimental results
- Hands-on experience with pipetting, pH, UV-VIS, and HPLC preferred
- Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
Compensation: $30-$44 per hour based on education and experience
