Contract Technical Writer

Working remotely on a contract basis, the part-time Contract Technical Writer will draft and refine technical documents for international data security standards, ensuring compliance with NATO and allied publication conventions while collaborating with a Solutions Architect. Key responsibilities Draft and refine technical prose for international cryptographic key management and data security standards Document interoperability test plans, results, and technical findings for multinational exercises Prepare technical white papers and briefing materials supporting government research partnerships Required qualifications Demonstrated experience writing or editing technical standards for government or multinational organizations Strong command of precise technical prose found in RFCs, STANAGs, or MIL-STDs Ability to produce publication-ready drafts from engineering notes and SME interviews Familiarity with NATO standards processes or Five Eyes publication conventions Background in cybersecurity or data security concepts
