Job Description

Weare seeking a full-time Trauma Surgeon/Surgical Intensivist/Acute Care Surgeonto join our team at a Level 1 Trauma and Burn Center in the metropolitanPhoenix, AZ area. This immediate practice opportunity is ideal for afellowship-trained surgeon who thrives in a dynamic, multidisciplinaryenvironment providing comprehensive surgical care.

PositionHighlights:

Workin a designated Level 1 Trauma and Burn Center delivering a full spectrum ofsurgical services.
Collaboratewith a highly skilled team and report directly to the Chief of Trauma and theChair of the Department of Surgery.
Contributeto a robust academic and research-oriented environment, including teachingresponsibilities and opportunities for health services, translational, or basicscience research.

Requirements:

M.D.or D.O. from an accredited medical or osteopathic school.
Completionof an ACGME-accredited general surgery residency and surgical critical carefellowship.
BoardCertified or Board Eligible by the American Board of Surgery in General Surgeryand Surgical Critical Care.
Provenexpertise in emergency surgery, surgical critical care, and trauma patientmanagement.
Ademonstrated record of teaching and research experience.
