About the Role: The Child and Family Therapist plays a crucial role in supporting the mental health and emotional well-being of children and their families. Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field. Valid state licensure as a therapist (LMFT or LCSW). Experience working with children and families in a therapeutic setting. Preferred Qualifications: Certification in play therapy or other specialized therapeutic modalities. Experience with trauma-informed care and working with diverse populations. Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify mental health needs and challenges. Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions using evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
