Data Engineer
GQR
We’re hiring a hands-on Data Engineer to build scalable data platforms across key corporate functions including Finance, Compliance, Facilities, RESO, and HCG. This is a longterm contract role, onsite in Manhattan.
What You’ll Do
- Design and optimize data pipelines using Azure + Databricks
- Build ETL/ELT workflows for structured and unstructured data
- Integrate platforms like Workday, ServiceNow, and Dataverse
- Develop data models for analytics and reporting
- Ensure data quality, governance, security, and performance
- Partner with business and tech teams to deliver enterprise solutions
What You’ll Need
- Strong Azure Data Engineering experience
- Hands-on Databricks / Spark expertise
- Advanced SQL skills
- Python, Scala, C#, or PowerShell experience
- Azure Data Factory or similar pipeline tools
- Experience with APIs, Azure Functions, and enterprise integrations
- 5+ years in data engineering

Delta Lake, Azure DevOps, CI/CD, governance tools, certifications
