Job Description

As a Security Guard Full Time X Ray Screening in Austell GA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more. As a Screener at a logistics and distribution location you will use screening equipment to inspect packages and help identify potential security-related concerns. You will maintain a visible presence communicate professionally with team members and support a welcoming environment. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients visitors and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures and access-control requirements at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen employees visitors contractors packages and/or vehicles in accordance with established procedures documenting and reporting prohibited items suspicious activity and policy violations.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner following site-specific emergency response protocols.
• Monitor entry and exit points shipping and receiving areas and screening equipment to help deter unauthorized access and loss-related activity.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility perimeter parking areas and operational spaces reporting hazards and security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
