River Oaks -based Contemporary Mexican Restaurant is hiring a passionate Barista to join our Front of House team. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, attention to detail, and a genuine passion for preparing high-quality beverages while providing outstanding guest service.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve high-quality hot and cold coffee beverages, including espresso-based drinks.
• Operate espresso machines, coffee grinders, blenders, and other beverage equipment safely and efficiently.
• Follow recipes and presentation standards to ensure consistency and quality.
• Provide friendly, attentive, and professional service to every guest.
• Take beverage orders accurately and answer guest questions about coffee, beverages, and menu items.
• Maintain knowledge of coffee products, ingredients, preparation methods, and menu offerings.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked barista station throughout the shift.
• Follow proper food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness procedures.
• Monitor inventory and communicate product or supply needs to management.
• Work closely with servers, hosts, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
• Maintain professionalism, speed, and attention to detail during high-volume periods.
• Create a welcoming and memorable experience for every guest.

What You Bring / Lo Que Tú Aportas

• Previous Barista experience , ideally in a restaurant, café, coffee shop, or other high-volume hospitality environment.
• Knowledge of espresso-based beverages and basic coffee preparation techniques.
• Bilingual English/Spanish - ¡Hablamos tu idioma!
• Passion for coffee, hospitality, and providing exceptional guest experiences.
• Friendly, energetic, and outgoing personality.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to beverage quality and presentation.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
