Grill Cook

Job Description Job Description Position Overview We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Grill Cook to join our team. This role is responsible for preparing high-quality food on the flat top grill, maintaining speed and consistency during service, and ensuring all food safety and cleanliness standards are met. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced kitchen, works well with a team, and takes pride in delivering great food every time. Key Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items on a flat top grill (cheesesteaks, chicken, pork, etc.) Follow recipes and portion standards consistently Maintain speed and accuracy during high-volume service Set up and stock grill station before and during shifts Ensure proper food handling, cooking temperatures, and storage procedures Keep grill station clean, organized, and sanitized at all times Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team Assist with prep work (slicing meats, prepping onions, etc.) as needed Monitor inventory levels at station and notify management when low Qualifications Previous grill or line cook experience preferred (but not required – we will train) Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment Strong attention to detail and consistency Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices Team-oriented with a positive attitude Schedule Requirements Availability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed Punctual and reliable attendance is required What We Offer Competitive pay Flexible scheduling Growth opportunities within the company Team-oriented work environment Employee meals/discounts Physical Requirements Standing for extended periods Working in a hot kitchen environment Frequent use of hands and arms for cooking and prep #J-18808-Ljbffr PHILLY4EVER LLC
