Team members at Chick-fil-A seek to provide guests with an extraordinary experience every day by working together to deliver each guest a swift and high-quality experience. As a member of the back of house team, they will prepare, cook, assemble, and present food safely, quickly, and efficiently, meeting Chick-fil-A standards. Duties and responsibilities include:

• Handling food according to procedures, i.e., storing, labeling, and storing, etc.
• Ensuring personal safety while operating fryers, ovens, and other kitchen equipment within the kitchen.
• Professional conduct is carried out among all employees and guests.
• Ensuring the work environment is clean and well-stocked, i.e., utensils, equipment, counters, floors, etc.
• Communicating clearly with all team members and guests.
• Reporting maintenance issues to management.
• Preparing ingredients and food according to recipes and instructions for distribution.
• Maintaining the right amount of food and products at all times.
• Setting up, operating, and breaking down food stations.
• Controlling food temperature and retention times.
• Assisting and completing required training.
• Being available in the afternoon and evening.
• Maintaining proper personal hygiene.
• Performing other related duties as assigned.

Knowledge, skills, and abilities include:

• Demonstrating knowledge of safe work practices.
• Demonstrating knowledge of menu items.
• Demonstrating good customer service skills and basic math skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
• Ability to meet the physical demands throughout the shift, including standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Ability to work quickly but efficiently and thoroughly.
• Ability to maintain a positive attitude.
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to work independently and as a team.
