Base pay range $19.00/hr - $24.00/hr Duration: 6-month contract to hire* Pay: $19-24/hr If you meet all the must-haves and plusses, you could be a CWI or Construction Inspector earning $28-36/hr* Start Date: ASAP PERKS: Employee support, caring environmental, company culture Employee stock options, 100% employee owned Terracon has experienced 33% growth in 2024 vs. 2023 Strong, well-established presence in Texas Technical Must-Haves: 1+ year of experience in materials/construction testing Comfortable working 50-60+ hours during busy season Valid driver’s license ACI certification in one or more areas: Concrete Field Testing Technician Grade I Certified in radiation safety and Nuclear Density Gauge operation Plusses: ICC Certifications AWS or CAWI certifications Day-To-Day Responsibilities: A client in the Dallas, TX area is seeking to add 5+ Technicians to their growing team to start before summer. Responsibilities include: Perform field and laboratory testing, observation, and inspection of construction materials (e.g., soils, aggregates, concrete, asphalt, steel) Communicate with project managers, engineering technicians, client representatives, and contractors regarding site activities, testing, and inspection results Transport material samples with documentation to the laboratory for testing Prepare and submit data and observations in reports for daily transmittal to the project manager Maintain and clean equipment, vehicles, and work areas Assist with scheduling and dispatch of Technicians; adhere to safety standards Seniority level Associate Employment type Contract Job function Engineering and Other Industry Civil Engineering Referrals can double your chances of interviewing at Insight Global.
