We’re a fast-growing, Series A–backed startup building an AI-native social commerce platform that helps brands manage their communities, understand customer conversations, and turn social engagement into business impact. Our AI agents support community management and social listening across more than 10 million conversations each week. Founded by former Meta leaders, we recently raised a $30 million Series A backed by leading venture capital firms. With a team of approximately 60 people and new enterprise customers joining every week, we’re expanding quickly—and mobile is a major part of what comes next. The Opportunity

We’re hiring a

Founding Mobile Engineer

to take our React Native application from zero to one across iOS and Android. As our first dedicated mobile engineer, you’ll own the foundational decisions that shape the product: architecture, performance, development practices, and the experience we deliver to brand teams. You’ll work directly with the founders, product, and design to bring the app to launch and establish the foundation for a growing mobile engineering team. This is a hands‑on building role with substantial ownership. We’re looking for someone who has shipped polished applications used in production, can work across the stack when needed, and is comfortable making sound technical decisions without a fully defined playbook. What You’ll Do

Own the mobile product from architecture through launch.

Design, build, and release our React Native application for iOS and Android, taking responsibility for quality, reliability, and the user experience. Establish the mobile engineering foundation.

Define architecture, navigation patterns, state management, shared components, testing, CI/CD, and performance standards that support the product as it grows. Build AI-powered, real‑time experiences.

Develop data-intensive mobile features connected to distributed systems supporting more than 10 million conversations per week. Integrate across social and commerce platforms.

Work with external APIs and integrations across platforms such as TikTok, Meta, Instagram, and Shopify. Work across the stack to solve problems.

Collaborate on the backend services and API interactions needed to deliver reliable, responsive mobile experiences. Shape product and technical priorities.

Partner closely with the founders, product, and design to translate customer needs into practical solutions and balance launch speed with long-term maintainability. Help build the mobile team.

Establish engineering practices and contribute to expanding mobile capabilities as the company scales. What You’ll Bring

5+ years of software engineering experience , with deep hands‑on expertise in React Native for both iOS and Android. A track record of shipping

high‑quality production mobile applications currently live in the App Store , with examples you can discuss in detail during a portfolio review. Experience supporting applications beyond their initial launch, including addressing performance, reliability, and scalability as usage grows. Strong knowledge of mobile architecture, navigation patterns, state management, and platform‑specific considerations. Experience with

distributed systems , external API integrations, and real‑time, data‑intensive features. The ability to work independently, navigate ambiguity, and take end‑to‑end ownership—including working across mobile and backend boundaries when needed. A degree is required. Nice to Have

Recent early‑stage startup experience, particularly in a founding, senior mobile, or full‑stack engineering role with meaningful zero‑to‑one ownership. Experience building social media platforms, e‑commerce products, or commerce infrastructure. How You’ll Work

You’ll thrive here if you take initiative, move quickly, and care about what happens after a feature ships. You should be comfortable identifying problems, making thoughtful tradeoffs, and following through without waiting for detailed instructions. We value engineers who combine strong technical judgment with practical execution—people who can build for an immediate launch while making decisions that hold up as the product and team grow. Compensation, Location & Work Authorization

The role offers a

$200,000–$400,000 annual base salary , meaningful equity, and an annual bonus. Our primary working arrangement is

four days per week onsite in Palo Alto , with relocation support available. Fully remote work within the United States may be considered for exceptional candidates. Candidates must have

current U.S. work authorization . Visa transfers are supported, but new visa sponsorship is not available. Interview Process

The process includes an initial screening conversation, a technical interview, technical assessments, and a final onsite interview. Candidates should be prepared to share live App Store applications and walk through their contributions, architecture decisions, and experience scaling those products.
