As a Security Officer - Overnight Distribution Center Patrol in Oceanside, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity. Pay Rate: $18.35 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating information according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, building entrances, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe vehicle, pedestrian, and delivery activity in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and unusual activity in required reports and communicate relevant information to site leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be able to lift up to 20 pounds, preferred.
• Possess a guard card or license, preferred.
• Have customer service experience, preferred.
• Possess CPR certification, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
