Schedule: 0.9 FTE | 12-hour shifts | Days & Evenings
Pay: $19.76–$29.64/hour, based on years of experience
Positions Available: 1
Call: No Call
Weekend Requirement: Weekends based on department rotation

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Urgency Center Technician / Patient Care Technician (PCT) to join a healthcare team in New Hope, MN .

The Urgency Center Technician provides supportive, high-quality patient care under the direction of the clinical care team. This role is ideal for a patient-focused healthcare professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced clinical environment and helping patients and families feel comfortable throughout their visit.

The technician will also assist with patient flow and work collaboratively with nurses, providers, and other members of the healthcare team.

Schedule

This is a 0.9 FTE position with 12-hour shifts. The schedule includes days and evenings and may change based on operational needs.

Typical shift times:

• 7:45 AM – 8:15 PM
• 8:00 AM – 8:30 PM

The schedule follows a rotating pattern that may include weekdays and weekends.

No on-call requirement.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide supportive and compassionate care to patients and families.
• Assist the clinical care team with patient care activities.
• Help maintain efficient patient flow throughout the Urgency Center.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, nurses, providers, and other healthcare professionals.
• Follow established patient safety, infection prevention, and clinical procedures.
• Maintain a professional and patient-centered environment.
• Adapt to changing patient volumes and operational needs.

Required Qualifications

• Successful completion of an EMT program .
• Current BLS certification .
• At least 1 year of experience as a Clinical Technician in a clinic or hospital setting.
• Current National or State EMT certification .

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous Emergency Department experience .
• Experience working in an urgent care, emergency care, or other fast-paced clinical environment.
• Strong communication and patient-care skills.

Certification Requirements

• BLS Certification
• National or State EMT Certification
