Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Join a traveling Physical Therapist role in Midlothian, VA, at an outpatient clinic where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location. Evaluate assigned patients, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, delegate and direct discipline-specific therapy services, and promote functional programs for community return. Maintain professional licensure, complete timely and accurate documentation, participate in student education when assigned, and pursue ongoing professional development. Uphold organizational safety practices and professional codes of conduct.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from a program accredited by the APTA.
• Active Virginia Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience in outpatient physical therapy required.
• Demonstrated competency in comprehensive patient evaluation, clinical reasoning, treatment plan development, goal writing, and documentation compliant with regulatory and payer requirements.
• Ability to supervise and delegate to therapy aides or assistants as needed.
• Familiarity with safe patient handling procedures and infection control practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience participating in student clinical education and completing student evaluations.
• Previous experience working in a fast-paced outpatient clinic and meeting productivity expectations.

• Schedule: 5x8 shift pattern.
