Advanced Practice Provider - Rural Health - Physician's Office- Jackson

Job Summary Provides primary care to patients following established standards and practices in collaboration with physician in the clinic. Education and Qualifications Graduate from accredited school of nursing and successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner Program or Physician Assistant Program. Current license as a Registered Nurse and an Advanced Practice Nurse by the State of Missouri or current license as a Physician Assistant. BLS Certification. Three years' experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, preferred in Family Medicine. Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to maintain a safe working environment. Skills in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, physicians, staff and the public. Ability to maintain quality control standards and remain calm and effective during emergency situations. Ability to communicate clearly, as well as understanding and responding to detailed oral and written instructions. Ability to learn and efficiently utilize diagnostic equipment, electronic systems for ordering, medical records and other common computer programs. Why Work at Saint Francis?
