Job Summary

Rapid Response Staffing Solutions is currently hiring local Kitchen Utility Cleaners in Columbia, Missouri! We are looking for dependable, hardworking individuals who are comfortable performing detailed deep cleaning and sanitation duties in a fast-paced environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-paced team setting where your efforts directly contribute to delivering exceptional services.

Assignment Dates: August 13th – August 16th

Schedule: 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Approximately 10-hour workdays

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning and sanitizing of kitchen surfaces, equipment, utensils, and food preparation areas following established food safety procedures.
• Deep cleaning concession stands and kitchen areas
• Pressure washing floors, equipment, and designated areas
• Operate kitchen equipment such as dishwashers, sinks, and manual tools safely and efficiently.
• Handle manual tasks including heavy lifting of supplies, equipment, or trash bags while adhering to proper lifting techniques to prevent injury.
• Follow all sanitation protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations and maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, catering, or hospitality environments is preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitation procedures.
• Ability to operate basic kitchen equipment and perform manual handling tasks safely.
• Strong knife skills and familiarity with food preparation techniques are advantageous.
• Physical stamina for heavy lifting and standing for extended periods.
• Understanding of kitchen health and safety standards to prevent accidents or contamination.
• Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude towards maintaining cleanliness and supporting kitchen operations.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must have a valid government-issued photo ID
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work the scheduled assignment
• Must be physically able to perform cleaning duties, including standing, bending, lifting, and extended periods of activity
