Job Description
As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver in Portland, OR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at an automotive location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. This driving post requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Deliver outstanding customer service and clear communication while demonstrating Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-focused, and integrity-driven values.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and drivers at an automotive manufacturing or distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, loading docks, production-adjacent areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and verify visitor, contractor, and delivery credentials in accordance with site-specific procedures.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
- Prepare clear and accurate reports of patrols, incidents, access-related activities, and other security-related observations.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
