CVOR Surgical Tech

Location:  Colorado Springs, CO

Start Date:  07-06-2026

End Date:  10-05-2026

Shift Type:  6:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with rotating call requirements (one weekday per month and one weekend per month)

Hours per Week: 40

Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain sterile field during cardiovascular and thoracic surgeries
• Assist surgical team with instrumentation and supplies during open heart and endovascular procedures
• Ensure proper functioning of equipment and instruments
• Collaborate with surgeons and nurses to ensure patient safety
• Maintain strict aseptic technique throughout procedures

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of cardiovascular and thoracic surgical procedures
• Proficiency in sterile technique and instrument handling
• Familiarity with endovascular instruments and equipment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to respond quickly in emergency situations

Requirements

• Active Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification
• Colorado DORA license
• BLS certification
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in open heart and endovascular surgery
• Ability to work flexible shifts and call rotations
