Program Manager, Compliance Auditing & Monitoring

Job Summary Program Manager, Compliance Auditing & Monitoring leads the execution of the organization's Compliance Audit Plan, ensuring activities are aligned with regulatory requirements and organizational priorities. The role supervises audit and monitoring staff, providing direction, oversight, and performance coaching while managing multiple engagements to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant outcomes. The Program Manager reviews audit work, leverages data analytics to enhance audit effectiveness, and ensures findings and corrective actions are properly documented and communicated. The role supports the annual risk assessment process and collaborates with leadership to address emerging compliance risks and organizational needs. Minimum Qualifications Degrees Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Informatics, Healthcare Administration, or another business-related field Master's Degree in Business Administration or Accounting (preferred) Licenses & Certifications Cert Health Compliance (preferred) Certified Public Accountant (preferred) Work Experience Five (5) years of experience supervising and coordinating audit and monitoring activities in a healthcare or regulated environment. Experience using data analytics, data mining, compliance investigations, and electronic health record data to support audit planning, testing, and follow-up activities. Preferred Experience Knowledge of the Epic electronic medical record platform. Proficiency in data analytics with expertise in data mining and data analytics technology. Management Experience Two (2) years of management experience supervising staff and overseeing day-to-day activities. Experience supporting audit or oversight activities in an organizational or regulated environment. Communication Skills Above average verbal communication (heavy public contact). Above average verbal and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to convey ideas clearly and effectively, using appropriate language and tone for subject matter and audience. Writing/Reports skills: ability to prepare clear, detailed written reports summarizing audit scope, findings, compliance risk analysis, and corrective actions. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Analytical abilities: analyze complex data, provide substantive documentation, and exercise sound professional judgment. Mathematics proficiency. Proficiency with electronic health record systems (Epic), ACL Analytics, and/or data mining tools. Research knowledge and abilities: work independently and collaboratively across departments. Statistical knowledge and abilities. Transcription skills. Work Schedule Flexible – able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a complex healthcare environment. Eligible for telecommute. Other Requirements Extensive experience in auditing, healthcare data analytics and/or ACL. MS Excel – high proficiency. MS Word – high proficiency.
