Facilities Support Officer Location: Sidmouth, Devon, UK Contract: Fixed Term Contract (12 months), Part Time Salary: £13,521 per annum Schedule: 16:30‑21:30, 4 days on, 4 days off (flexible) About The Role Ensure site security by patrolling and following charity policies. First point of call for EFM issues and emergencies outside working hours. Monitor CCTV and respond to intruder alarms. Assist in managing door entry systems, keys, padlocks. Provide operational support for onsite services: security, parking, escorting contractors, deliveries. Respond to emergency situations and urgent security incidents. Carry out frequent facility assessments and report concerns. About You Good understanding of all aspects of security, including site security and personal safety. Ability to respond appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues, using initiative to problem‑solve calmly. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Competent record‑keeping skills, capable of accurate, timely reporting on incidents and inspections. Working knowledge of Health & Safety / Fire Safety principles and safe systems of work. Manage personal safety, conduct regular welfare checks. Competent IT skills. Full, current, valid UK driving licence.
