Quality InspectorThe Quality Inspector is responsible for ensuring products meet customer, regulatory, and company quality standards throughout the manufacturing process. This role combines hands-on inspection activities with quality engineering functions, including process auditing, root cause analysis, corrective actions, quality system maintenance, and continuous improvement initiatives. The position works closely with production, engineering, suppliers, and management to ensure product conformity and customer satisfaction.Responsibilities:Perform hands-on inspections of products to ensure compliance with customer, regulatory, and company quality standards.Conduct process audits and root cause analysis to identify areas for improvement.Implement corrective actions and maintain the quality system to enhance product quality.Collaborate with production, engineering, suppliers, and management to ensure product conformity and customer satisfaction.Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize manufacturing processes.Essential Skills:Minimum 3 years of inspection experience in an aerospace manufacturing or machining environment.Minimum 3 years of experience using FARO Arm equipment; 5 years preferred.Minimum 3 years of experience using Verisurf software; 5 years preferred.Minimum 3 years of First Article Inspection (FAI) experience; 5 years preferred.Minimum 3 years of GD&T interpretation and application experience; 5 years preferred.Additional Skills & Qualifications:Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, and technical documentation.Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.Experience working within a Quality Management System (QMS).Extensive knowledge of AS9100 and ISO 9001 quality standards.Why Work Here?Enjoy working in a climate-controlled environment within a smaller company that values its employees. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
