About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse - Cath Lab Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8H Days Hours per Shift: 40 Experience: Minimum of 1 year in Cath Lab within the last year License: Valid Driver's License required to float between facilities Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Must be able to scrub, monitor, and circulate - Experience with complex interventional procedures - Critical patient assessment skills - Vasoactive drug administration - Sedation administration - Sterile technique Description: This position involves floating between multiple facilities. The Registered Nurse will perform three different functions in the labs: circulating, monitoring, or scrubbing. Candidates must be experienced in coronary artery disease, STEMI, cardiogenic shock, complex total occlusions, and other cardiac conditions. The nurse will support complex interventional procedures and must be familiar with operating imaging systems and hemodynamic monitoring. The role requires strong skills in critical patient assessment and should include experience with various technologies and equipment commonly used in the Cath Lab. Support on the unit includes Charge RN and Anesthesia for all hybrid cases. The nurse may need to work weekends on a rotating basis and participate in a call schedule. Candidates must have experience with both diagnostic and interventional scrubbing. Preferred skills also include familiarity with advanced techniques and devices like Impella and IABP. All candidates should expect to float between assigned facilities and backup other units as needed. Holiday expectations will be handled based on unit needs.
