Manager - Product Marketing

The Manager - Product Marketing is responsible for increasing brand awareness for the region/facility by the development and implementation of marketing plans, materials, and communications as well as maximize awareness and increase reach to potential prospects and clients within target markets. This position is also responsible for oversight of the online store.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Develops, executes, andmonitorsgrowthmarketingand demand generationprograms for assigned product lines and/or market segments.

• Partners withmarketing and sales leaders toset,manage,and report ongrowthmarketing goals.

• Analysesindustry, market,competitive,and economicdata from internal and external sources.Monitors regulatorylandscape foropportunities toposition the company and/or its thought leaders.

• Develops, executes, and reportson growth marketing strategiesto includenew business,customerexpansion,andretentionprograms.Collaborateswith inside salesteamsto drive personalized prospecting programsusing email sequencing and sales development agents.

• Partners with technical subject matter experts to develophigh-quality content and to stay abreast of newcapabilities and internaldynamics.

• Articulatesclearpositioning and messaging strategies in alignment with the corporate marketing brand framework.Understands the competitive landscape and developsstrategies to differentiate companyservices.

• Collaborates with corporate marketing and agency partners to build andleveragecategory-based thought leadership strategies andearnedmedia content.

• Serves as an advocate for what the customer wants and needs from a lab services partner.

• Support sales conversions bymonitoringthe sales cycle and pipeline milestones. Workswith the team to develop sales enablement tools and strategies to improve win rates.Performswin/loss interviews and analyses to drive continuous improvement.

• Manages program initiatives to budget; monitoring and reporting on cost per lead, average win, customer lifetime value, and marketing lifecycle goal attainment by product line/market.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field;
• Five (5) to ten (10) years plus of marketing experience -- including two (2) years of managerial experience
• OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

• Expert principles and practices of marketing and communications programs and activities.
• Media resources and their use.
• Computer applications related to the work.
• Principles and techniques of preparing effective written informational or educational materials.
• Fundamental to intermediate principles, practices, and techniques of sales effectiveness.
• Principles and practices of developing teams, motivating employees, and managing in a team environment.
• Basic principles and practices of budget development and administration.
• Various understanding of sales programs, policies, and procedures.
• Principles and techniques of providing effective oral presentations.
• Principles and practices of program planning, development, and evaluation.
• Principles and techniques of making effective oral presentations.
• Principles and practices to serving as an effective project team member.
• Techniques for dealing with a variety of individuals from various socio-economic, ethnic, and cultural backgrounds.
• Correct business English, including spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
